Entered the shelter as a stray :(
A volunteer writes: Miss Starrlet is a 10 mos old puppy, anxious to get out of her kennel and do what puppies are supposed to do: run, play, love and wiggle. So, when she saw me coming she barked to get my attention, and once she had it, stopped barking and wiggled excitedly at the prospect of a jaunt outside. This pretty honey colored girl is calm, cool and collected once outside. We were standing on the sidewalk and a kid on a motorized scooter came waaaayyyy to close to us and she just stood there observing. She didn't flinch or bark - a city puppy through and through - used to the loud noises of city streets. Starrlet prances along happy to observe everything going on around her, happy for some loving and in love with life as a puppy should be. She loves to play and have fun and is waiting for her forever home where she can run and have toys and exercise and be everything that a puppy should be. Meet Starlett in Manhattan today.
