I have been overcome with a desire to watch the live action Scooby Doo movies. And so I decided to draw Scooby!

Another breed, I LOVE, a bloodhound!

6.10.10 Mini Dachshund

Today's doggy is Lady, one of my aunt's miniature dachshunds. She was used as a breeder in a puppy mill for her eight years of life, until a rescue saved her. She was thin, missing teeth, ribs broken and rehealed on their own from birthing litter after litter with no medical care. Now she's well fed, well loved, and very happy.

I saw a Schnauzer in the store at work today and wanted to draw one. While browsing the internet for pictures I remembered all the tweets from Simon Pegg about his Schnauzer, Minnie. So I hunted a picture down of her and, here she is!

I love basset hounds, they're absolutely adorable. Big feet and big ears!

6.7.10 Doberman

I know I've been slacking on my dogs - it's been a very busy past week. Today, a doberman. Because I really like them. That back leg is too long. Shh. We'll pretend he has some sort of physical defect where he has one leg longer than the other.

This Border Terrier is drawn after my neighbor's dog, Glenner, in her younger years. She's a little old lady now at 14 and still adorable. In fact maybe more so due to her slight roundness and slight deafness.

Long, long hiatus...but now I'm back in the swing of things! Today's doggy is a Pomeranian. Because I saw one being groomed in the store yesterday and thought it was hilariously cute. Like a pokemon. Poof!

4.28.10 Black Lab Mix, 4.29.10 Minature Poodle

Yesterday's pup is Alex, a labby mix. That paw sticking out does not belong to the leg in the foreground. It's the other one wrapping around. It was not in the original picture, but I added it for balance. Only now do I realize it looks like it's coming from the wrong side. Which it's not.

Today's dog is Nala, a little teeny poodle poof. Her ear was really flipped out like that, I promise.

A long overdue drawing, this is Harry! We can only guess as to what his lineage is. But he is adorable for sure.

And today's doggy is Daisy the Boxer, putting on her best begging face. And also sort of looking like a disembodied head. Moreso than the other headshots. Oops.

Today's pup is Boomer, my family's first dog. My mom found him running around the department store where she worked when she was pregnant with me.

And today's dog is miss Baby Belle Bumble Bee! Or just Bee. She's a Bullmastiff with an adorable underbite. And Brodie's girlfriend.
